Visitor Motivations to Lake Simcoe Watershed
About the Project
The researchers sought to understand the current behaviours of recreation visitors to the Lake Simcoe Watershed. The research focused on determining sustainability tendencies as well as the motivations and preferences for visiting the watershed. Data was collected through quantitative surveys that were collected throughout October 2014 to March 2015. A total of 575 surveys were completed, of which 89% of respondents were previous visitors to the Lake Simcoe Watershed.
