Public’s Perception of Buskers In the Downtown Yonge BIA

About the Project

Street Entertainment (busking) is a very common activity in the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area (BIA) in Toronto. However, little is known about the general public’s perception of buskers and the impact on users. To address this, researchers performed in person and online surveys to better understand these issues, and to help guide possible policy development.
