The Benefits and Economic Impacts of Cycle Tourism in Ontario
About the Project
This study, through questionnaires as well as secondary research, determines the economic impacts of cycle tourists, cycling preferences, spending habits, motivations for cycling, and preferred marketing channels in order to allow Ontario to further market themselves as a cycle tourism destination. The researchers collected 498 questionnaires from cyclists to determine the economic impacts of cycle tourism in Ontario from September to December, 2014.
