Institute Projects

The Institute works to provide current, relevant and timely information to the hospitality and tourism industry. Including a diverse portfolio of projects, some come directly from industry and we hire students to carry out the work supervised by a faculty member.

A testimonial from our most recent work:

“It’s been fantastic to work with the Institute. They have provided us with meaningful and applied demographic insights and data that will significantly help to further our mandate of engaging with Canadians on the protection and celebration of Canada’s natural and cultural heritage. I feel very lucky to have learned about and connected with the Institute – it’s definitely a bit of a hidden gem in the GTA and nationally for applied research in the areas of tourism, hospitality, sustainability, recreation and social science. The quality control and service provided by the Institute – through the tremendous work of student Anita Man and under the direction of Dr. Rachel Dodds – were top notch.”
